Lamagnere Wins the Pot After the Floor Called
France's Matthieu Lamagnere is one of the most successful poker players joining the early action of the Coolbet Open Main Event with nearly $500,000 in live tournament cashes.
Villem-Henrik Koitmaa limped and two others limped behind before Lamagnere jammed for what seemed to be more than 4,000. Koitmaa didn't realize his opponent was all in and put 50 chips into the pot after seeing some of the others call for two black 100 chips.
The dealer wasn't sure whether Koitmaa said "call" or not before he put in his bet. The entire table confirmed this was not the case and the floor was called. The floor ruled that Koitmaa either had to leave the 50 extra chips in the pot or call.
Koitmaa sighed with relief before he said with a smile that he would fold. The other two players folded behind and Lamagnere scooped a small pot.
