Janik turned some extra outs as 10♣10♠5♠7♠ gave him a flush draw, but the river came an inconsequential 9♦. The Frenchman was the first player eliminated from the final table and took home €4,700 for his efforts.
Asgeir Lund made it 110,000 in middle position. Kai Tiainen decided to commit his last 395,000 in the cutoff, and Lund instantly called once it had folded back to him.

Tiainen only had one overcard to the queens of Lund. The 6♣6♦J♦A♠ turn added a ten as out to Tiainen's arsenal, but the 4♠ river changed nothing. Tiainen waved off in eighth place, seeing Lund cross the four-million mark.
Artur Kulanurk raised the cutoff to 100,000. Maksim Belomestnoi was in the small blind and elected to flat-call. The A♣4♣3♥ flop saw Kulanurk continue for another 100,000, with Belomestnoi check-calling.
Kulanurk upped the ante to 250,000 on the 6♣ turn, which Belomestnoi again check-called. Belomestnoi checked for a third time when the K♣ river completed the board.
Kulanurk thought for a while and assembled his chips, but ultimately decided to check back. Belomestnoi tabled A♥10♥ for top pair, and Kulanurk quickly sent his K♥Q♥ into the muck.
Maksim Belomestnoi found 8♥8♦ in the cutoff and raised to 105,000. Asgeir Lund was on the button, three-betting his 7♠5♠ to 325,000.
Belomestnoi gave it some thought before he decided to muck his pocket pair, forfeiting the pot against one of the chipleaders.
Guillermo Gordo opened Q♣10♠ to 100,000 in the cutoff. Kristjan Maasalu called with A♥10♥ on the button, and Artur Kulanurk defended his big blind with J♣10♦.
The Q♦4♣7♣ flop was checked by all players. The 9♦ arrived on the turn, on which Kulanurk led out for 225,000. Gordo called before Maasalu quickly got rid of his hand, after which the 7♥ hit the river.
After a while, Kulanurk checked. Gordo debated for some time as well, eventually settling on a bet of 225,000 with top pair. Kulanurk got rid of his missed draw, and the pot was shipped to Gordo without showdown.
