Gordo Wins First Pot as Lund Starts Blasting
Level 25
: Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Asgeir Lund limped his button in with K♥5♠, after which Guillermo Gordo raised to 500,000 in the big blind with A♦K♠. Lund called to the 9♦6♠J♦ flop, where Gordo continued for 400,000.
Lund put in a raise to 1,000,000, and Gordo called. Undeterred by the 6♦ turn, Lund placed another 1,100,000 in the middle. Lund had picked up the nut flush draw and called, and he was rewarded with another diamond on the 4♦ river.
He decided to lead out for 2,000,000, prompting Lund to immediately get rid of his king-high, admitting defeat.
