Arttu Myllyrinne opened to 2,500, which Eero Santanen three-bet to 8,000. Daniel Haekkinen then moved his final 18,600 in the middle, and Myllyrinne committed his stack of 14,800 as well.
Santanen mulled things over for a bit before calling, putting both opponents at risk.
Arttu Myllyrinne: A♦7♦
Daniel Haekkinen: A♥Q♥
Eero Santanen: 9♥9♣
Haekinnen turned a flush on J♥J♦3♥4♥, leaving Myllyrinne drawing dead and confirming his departure. The 4♦ river did not upgrade Santanen to a full house as Haekkinen picked up a vital pot during the final hands of the night.

After a busy day at the Chesterfield Poker Club in Tallinn, Estonia, Day 1b of the 2025 Coolbet Open €550 Main Event is in the books. Over the course of the nine levels of play, 265 entries were made, making the total entries so far stand at 422. At the end of the evening, 107 players bagged, and it was Teppo Kurvinen from Finland who filled his bag the most, ending up with 216,000 chips, or 144 big blinds at the start of Day 2.
Kurvinen is joined in the top three by fellow Finnish player Kai Tiainen, who was the only other player to amass more than seven starting stacks, and Monica Vaka from Norway. Meanwhile, Ronald Randma was the best performing hometown player, securing a seventh spot on the leaderboard with his stack of 148,000.

WSOP bracelet winner and eighth on Estonia's all-time money list, as per The Hendon Mob, Ranno Sootla also bagged big with 135,000 in chips. Poker streamer Scott "Pokerbrahs" Kenyon ended with a six-figure stack of 106,000, while defending champion Anders Bjorkheim expanded the starting stack of 30,000 to 50,500 after reentering late in the day.
The 107 surviving players will combine with the 62 who did so on Day 1a on Friday, August 15, at noon local time for the second day of the three-day event. The total prize pool currently sits at €200,450 but with late registration open for one more full level on Day 2, and unlimited reentries allowed, that figure is expected to increase.
The plan for Day 2 has not yet been announced, but the field can expect a long day, as last year the Main Event played down to the final three tables before Day 2 concluded.
Whatever the plan may be for Day 2, PokerNews will be on the floor from start to finish for all your live reporting needs. Make sure to tune back in then to not miss anything from the 2025 Coolbet Open.
