Edd-Christian Gerhardsen
Edd-Christian Gerhardsen

Edd-Christian Gerhardsen, who started the day atop the counts, had apparently slept in as he took his seat only after the last break, blinding down in the three previous levels.

In an effort to regain chips, he raised to 10,500 in middle position. Niklas Klein called in the next seat, while Olli Merenheimo did so on the button.

Gerhardsen checked the 77K flop over to Klein, who bet 15,500. Merenheimo quickly got out of the way before Gerhardsen tossed in a call.

The 3 turn and 3 river then checked to showdown, where Gherhardsen's 88 was awarded the pot.

Ranno Sootla

Andre Magi had pushed his final 28,000 over the line from the small blind against Ranno Sootla on the button.

Andre Magi: 77 All in
Ranno Sootla: AA

The K10610 flop and turn brought no help for Magi, and Sootla filled up on the A river to secure the pot and win the battle between the two Estonian regulars.

Torsti Kettula
Torsti Kettula

Picking up the action on a J6Q10 turn, Knut Gronli bet 15,000 into a pot of 35,000 from the big blind. Torsti Kettula then raised to 45,000 in early position, which Gronli called after confirming the amount.

Both players ended up quickly checking the 3 river. Gronli showed 109 for a pair of tens, but Kettula was awarded the pot with KQ for top pair.

Rasanen Doubles Through Jaakson

Level 14 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Ott Jaakson raised his button to 10,000. Tomi Rasanen in the small blind three-bet all in for 97,000, and Jaakson called with the covering stack.

Tomi Rasanen: K4 All in
Ott Jaakson: A10

Jaakson flopped top pair on A98, but Rasanen locked up the pot by making a flush on the Q turn. "Lucky fish," Rasanen quipped as he raked in his double-up after the meaningless 6 river had been dealt.

Level 14 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Taavi Valisson opened under the gun when Jani Haarala moved his stack of 40,000 in on the button. Haarala snapped him off with the covering stack, revealing the cards.

Jani Haarala: K10 All in
Taavi Valisson: AK

Haarala could not get lucky on the 4J244 runout, seeing him eliminated some 20 spots away from the money.

Rasch Loses With Full House as Kaarval Keeps Building

Level 14 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Martin Rasch
Martin Rasch

Fredrik Kaarvall raised to 11,000 in early position. It folded to Martin Rasch in the big blind, who defended. Rasch check-called Kaarvall's bets of 13,000 on the 109J flop, and 28,000 on the 9 turn.

The 7 river was also checked by Rasch, seeing Kaarvall size down to 20,000. Rasch quickly grabbed calling chips and tossed them in the middle, quickly showing 109 for nines full of tens.

Kaarvall had better with J9, however, and his nines full of jacks won him the pot while Rasch was complimented by the table for losing the absolute minimum.
