Lauri Tuominen made it 16,000 to go in middle position. Pal Koppegodt three-bet to 40,000 in the small blind, which Tuominen decided to call.

Tuominen continued for 25,000 on the A♠2♥9♥ flop. Tuominen called to the 2♦ turn, where Koppegodt checked.

Tuominen took the initiative with a bet of 45,000. Koppegodt slid in some towers of T-1,000 chips for a call, but he led all in for 190,000 when the A♦ river completed the board.

Tuominen snap-folded, granting the pot to Koppegodt without showdown.

On the first hand of the bubble, Daniel Rantanen open-shoved for 97,000 in the cutoff. It folded to Ville Keranen in the big blind, who called with the covering stack.

A classic flip would decide Rantanen's fate, but it would not be one he liked. Keranen flopped a flush draw on 9♠Q♦2♦, and he locked up the pot on the 6♦ turn.

Rantanen was already drawing dead as the meaningless river came the 4♦, and he said his goodbyes in 96th place, one spot away from the min-cash of €1,120.

Catching the action on a K♠7♦7♣5♣ turn, Axel Hilmisson checked from early position to Lauri Tuominen on the button. Tuominen added 120,000 to the sizable pot of 165,000, and Hilmisson called.

The river fell the A♦. Hilmisson checked again, this time seeing his opponent move all in. Tuominen covered Hilmisson's stack of 195,000, and Hilmisson folded to leave himself 25 big blinds on the bubble.

Meanwhile, Mario Jurgens, Magnus Pukk, and Kim Ofverstrom were eliminated at other tables.

Last year, the 2025 Coolbet Open €550 Main Event attracted a field of 493 entries creating a prize pool of €234,175. A field consisting mostly of players from the Baltics and Scandinavia battled for three days at the Chesterfield Poker Club in Tallinn, Estonia, but ultimately it was Spanish regular Guillermo Gordo who was the last man standing.

After a dominating display on Day 3, Gordo captured the first-place prize of €48,400, his third-best live score according to The Hendon Mob. Perhaps more importantly, the Coolbet Open Main Event was Gordo's maiden major live victory, meaning he will go home with his first-ever trophy. To claim the title, Gordo defeated Asgeir Lund after a heads-up that lasted only a few hands.
