Shail Has the Nuts

Michael Shail checked with the board reading {7-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}, and his opponent tossed out a blue T5,000 chip. Shail check-raised to 11,500, and his opponent moved all in.

Shail snapped it off, turning over {q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for the nuts, and his opponent showed {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for a flush draw. The {8-Spades} bricked on the river, and Shail raked in the pot.

Glantz Trips Up Corcione

Three players saw a flop of {9-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}, including Matt Glantz and Robert Corcione. The action checked to Glantz who fired 1,500, and only Corcione called.

The turn was the {2-Diamonds}, both players checked, and the {j-Spades} completed the river. Corcione led out for 4,000, and Glantz tanked for a bit before calling.

Corcione tabled {10-Clubs}{7-Hearts} for a busted straight draw, and after examining the board for a few seconds to make sure Corcione didn't make a straight, Glantz showed {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for trip eights.
