Matt Glantz is on his second bullet after busting a few minutes ago. He immediately went to the registration desk and is now at his new seat, directly to Aaron Massey's left.
Daryl Jace has been MIA for the better part of Level 6, and, thanks to Aaron Massey, we finally found out why.
According to Massey, Jace busted in a hand where he opened, a player called, and Massey put in a three-bet. Jace four-bet, Massey five-bet to "around 11,000," and Jace tanked for two minutes before six-bet shoving all in for around 40,000.
Massey tanked for 20 seconds, then called with two kings. Jace had ace-king, and the board did not improve his hand.
"He had the best head of hair in the room," Massey told us.
We guess that's a decent consolation prize, but it's certainly not worth the $2,500 entrance fee.
Vanessa Selbst opened to 900 from the cutoff and was called by both players in the blinds.
The flop came down and the player in the small blind led out for 2,000. The player in the big blind ducked out of the way, Selbst called, and the hit the turn. The player in the small blind bet 3,500 this time, but Selbst raised to 9,100.
A quick call from her opponent landed the on the river which he checked. Selbst bet 14,200 and after about 45 seconds, her opponent folded.
"Didn't want to chop?" asked Selbst with a smile on her face,
"You might want to cover this," a player just told one of our PokerNews live reporters.
When we walked over to the table, we saw that three players were all in, including "Skinny" Steve Kerr, and Michael Shail. The board was , there was about 140,000 in the middle, and the hands looked like this:
Kerr:
Shail:
Third Player:
The spiked on the river, giving Shail a winning full house, and rocketing him out of his chair. Shail now has over 140,000 chips, the third player is out, and Kerr has around 15,000.
"Now we're going to gamble boys! No more of this cheap poker sh**!" yelled an excited Mike Matusow after winning a nice pot. A flopped set over set went in Matusow's favor.
