Roman Verenko had raised from the cutoff when "Brunon Schulz" three-bet to 38,000 from the big blind. Verenko called to the 7♣8♠3♥ flop, where the rest of "Brunon Schulz"s 135,000 chips quickly flew in the middle.

Verenko had made two pair on the flop to take the lead. He rivered a straight on the Q♠4♦ runout to secure the pot and sent "Brunon Schulz" to the rail for the second time on Day 1b.
With 75,000 in the middle, Ali Abdalla on the button got his stack of 136,500 in the middle on a flop of 10♣5♣9♠. He was looked up by Daniel Montagnolli in the small blind, and the cards were turned over.

Youness Barakat open-raised to 10,000 in the cutoff. Dominick French and Jean-Baptiste Tomi came along in the blinds before the 8♦4♥8♣ flop checked through.
Tomi fired a bet of 25,000 on the Q♦ turn, folding out French. Barakat tossed in a call and did so too when Tomi sized up to 50,000 on the 10♦ river.
Barakat showed A♦Q♥10♠5♦ for the nut flush. Tomi tabled the 8♥ before mucking his other three cards in defeat.
Gergo Nagy checked under the gun on a flop of J♥3♠6♥. Dimitrios Amoiridis then made a bet of 12,000 into a pot of 22,500, which Nagy raised to 40,000.
Amoiridis called to the 10♥ turn, where he called a down-sized bet of 30,000 as well.
Nagy slowed down on the Q♥ river and checked to Amoiridis. Amoiridis fired 90,000, sending Nagy into the tank. Eventually, he made the call and was showen A♦A♣8♣7♣ by Amoiridis.
Nagy had the pair of aces beat with A♠K♥6♦4♠ for Broadway, sending him the sizable pot.
In a pot of 120,000, small blind Vasili Firsau committed his final 58,000 on a flop of 2♦8♣6♠. Imad Derwiche called in the big blind and the cards went face-up.

Derwiche made a straight on the 10♦ turn to leave Firsau's kings drawing dead. The 7♥ river did not matter anymore as the Belarusian bracelet winner stood up and took his leave.

Imad Derwiche was seen putting a tiny bet of 30,000 into a huge pot of 185,000 from early position. The board was dealt up until the turn and read 10♥3♣3♠9♣ and Youness Barakat called on the button.
The 6♣ river saw Derwiche size down to 25,000, after which Barakat put his opponent all-in for 114,000. "Do I win with a flush?" Derwiche asked.
Without getting a response, he slammed in a call.
"You win," Barakat declared as he tabled A♥K♦9♥8♥ for two pair.
Derwiche showed K♣7♠4♣2♥ for a king-high flush and raked in the pot.
"Never bluff a fish," he repeated as he stacked his newly acquired chips.
