"Brunon Schulz" then raised to 170,000, after which Barakat jammed in his stack of 215,000. "Brunon Schulz" made a quick call and the cards were tabled.

Riebau-Schmithals Doubles Dire Stack

Level 2 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Sonny Franco in the small blind, Sebastien Compte in the big blind, and Fabian Riebau-Schmithals under the gun went to a flop of JQ10. It checked to Riebau-Schmithals, who bet 8,000.

Franco quickly folded but Compte raised to 30,000. Riebau-Schmithals jammed in his stack 42,000 and was instantly called.

Fabian Riebau-Schmithals: QQ22
Sebastien Compte: AA33

The J turn gave Riebau-Schmithals a full house and the 9 river failed to improve Compte's hand, doubling up Riebau-Schmithals.

Derwiche Dusts Off Remaining Chips

Level 2 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Imad Derwiche
Imad Derwiche

"Megas", Imad Derwiche, and Sebastien Compte each put in 7,500 preflop. "Megas" then bet 10,000 on the AJ4 flop and was called by only Derwiche.

The rest of Derwiche's chips flew in on the K turn, tabling the cards.

Imad Derwiche: A752 All in
"Megas": AAJ2

Derwiche needed a three or a spade to double up. The J river was a spade, but it gave "Megas" a full house to take the pot and eliminate Derwiche.

Derwiche Picks Two After Getting Shoved On

Level 2 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Christos Argyriadis mad a raise to 5,500 in the hijack. Imad Derwiche called on the button before Daniel Montagnolli made it 22,500 to go in the small blind.

Argyriadis quickly folded but Derwiche complied with a call. Montagnolli put in 25,000 on the 103K flop. "Gift," said Derwiche as he made the call.

"For whom?" Montagnolli asked without response. The Q turn saw Montagnolli size up to 60,000, which Derwiche quickly called.

Montagnolli had 87,000 remaining, and he jammed it in the middle on the 5 river. Derwiche spent one time bank before he made an agonized fold.

He requested to pick two cards from Montagnolli's hand to show, and he turned over Q6.

"How do you pick exactly those two?" Mantognolli pondered laughingly.

Roman Verenko raised to 3,500 in early position. "Megas" called in the cutoff before Daniel Zaremba came along on the button. The trio saw a flop of QJ6, where Verenko continued for 8,000.

"Megas" then raised to 25,000, forcing out Zaremba. Verenko decided to three-bet to 88,000, after which "Megas" shoved all in for a starting stack. Verenko snap-called and the cards went face-up.

"Megas": JJ109
Roman Verenko: AAQQ

Verenko had flopped top set against the middle set of "Megas". "Megas" made a straight on the K turn to take a big lead, but the 6 river paired the board to give Verenko the best full house.

He doubled up and left "Megas" with no chips remaining.
