Scarano Keeps Climbing

Level 4 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Ole Schemion opened to 8,500 from the button and Jose Scarano defended from the big blind.

The flop came 4J10. Scarano check-called a 15,000 continuation bet from Schemion.

Both players checked the 3 turn, leading to the Q river. Scarano checked, Schemion bet 50,500, and Scarano called.

Schemion could only show A532 for bottom pair and a blocker to the nut-straight. Scarano tabled K1042 for two pair, tens and fours to win the hand.

Lehto doubles from the brink

Level 3 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Luuk van den Belt limped in from the hijack, "Sonic" limped behind from the cutoff, Jonas Kronwitter limped from the small blind and Kai Lehto checked from the big blind.

The flop came AA3. Action checked around to "Sonic", who bet 3,000. Kronwitter folded before Lehto shoved with his remaining 11,000 chips. Van den Belt folded, and "Sonic" called with a covering stack.

Kai Lehto: A953 All in
"Sonic": QQ88

"Sonic" was drawing nearly dead against Lehto's flopped full house, and after failing to make running quads on the 29 runout Lehto doubled up his short stack.
