Lindstrom Picks Up Aces to Bust Holdeew

Level 18 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Fredrik Lindstrom raised to 150,000 in the cutoff and Jussi Mattila called on the button. Dmitri Holdeew then reraised to 700,000 in the small blind and Lindstrom moved all in.

Mattila tanked for a minute before folding, while Holdeew quickly called for an additional 400,000.

Dmitri Holdeew: QJ108 All in
Fredrik Lindstrom: AA82

Holdeew needed to crack Lindstrom's aces to stay alive, but he got no help on the K74 flop as Mattila let out a loud expletive. The rest of the board ran out 23 and Holdeew was eliminated.

Palm called, but Andersen then potted to 1,040,000 and Palm got out of the way.

Andersen had woken up with two aces and Tool couldn't catch up on the K7673 board as he was sent to the rail.

"You waited for one of us. Tricky, tricky," Teusl said to Andersen after the hand.
