Gergo Nagy
Gergo Nagy

With relatively few chips in the middle, Burak Simsek got his stack of 265,000 in the middle on a flop of 3QQ against Gergo Nagy, who covered him.

Burak Simsek: QJ92 All in
Gergo Nagy: QJ106

Both players had trip queens with a jack kicker, but the 4 turn gave Nagy a flush to take the lead. The K river did not upgrade Simsek's hand, leaving him empty-handed as he headed to the rail.

Gleissner Goes Out

Level 6 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Andreas Zampas and Bernd Gleissner had created a pot of 68,000 when Gleissner made a pot-sized bet on the 36Q flop, leaving around the same amount behind.

Zampas then put him all-in and Gleissner called after pondering for a little bit.

Andreas Zampas: K765

Zampas was behind but hit two pair on the 5 turn to take the lead. The J river did not improve Gleissner's aces, resulting in his exit.

Early Dinner for Macioce

Level 5 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Matthew Macioce got his stack of 85,000 in preflop against Sean Rafael.

Matthew Macioce: Q1097 All in
Sean Rafael: AAJ4

The 772 flop brought Macioce trips and Rafael a flush draw. Macioce pleaded for no diamond, and while the A turn did not bring one, Rafael made a full house to take a big lead.

Macioce's final out did not hit the 4 river, leaving him empty-handed just before the dinner break.

Krzesinski Fails to Triple Up

Level 5 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Most of Tomasz Krzesinski's chips had gone in the middle preflop, being called byy Dirk Rehbronn and Amir Mozaffarian. He then put his final 16,000 into the pot of 105,000.

Rehbronn raised to 154,500, which forced Mozaffarian out of the pot and created a showdown.

Tomasz Krzesinski: KJ97 All in
Dirk Rehbronn: A775

Rehbronn had flopped a straight, which remained the best hand on the K3 runout to secure the knockout.

"Megas" Bluffs Into Vogelsang

Level 4 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Tom Vogelsang and "Megas" had each put in 28,000 preflop when they checked through the Q1010 flop. Vogelsang, in the small blind, also checked the 6 turn, after which "Megas" bet 30,000 from the cutoff.

Vogelsang grabbed calling chips and put them in the middle. The 6 fell on the river and "Megas" quickly shoved all in for 117,000 after another check from Vogelsang.

Vogelsang made sure the bet was less than the pot before snap-calling. He tabled AQJ10 for tens full of queens. "Megas" tried to muck his A753, but the dealer retrieved it as per the rules.

Nagy Nabs Huge Three-Way All-In

Level 1 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Gergo Nagy
Gergo Nagy

Gergo Nagy three-bet to 18,500 from early position, getting a call from "Megas" in the cutoff. Espen Myrmo then four-bet jammed for his remaining 32,500, after which Nagy five-bet to 116,500.

"Just tell me what I need to put in," "Megas" told the dealer before quickly putting in a call.

The rest of the chips flew in on the 634 flop, with "Megas" being the at-risk player with a stack of 115,000.

"Megas": 101096 All in
Gergo Nagy: AAQJ

Nagy's Aces were ahead, but both players had outs after the 5 turn. The Q river helped neither of them, however, and Nagy scooped up the pot. He knocked out both opponents in the first level and ended up with over 500 big blinds.
