Dumartin took the lead on the 2♣J♣8♣ flop with a pair of jacks, while his opponent picked up a flush draw. The 5♦ turn and 5♥ river missed the small blind and Dumartin doubled up, decimating the stack of his opponent who was left with only 2,000.

The next hand, Dumartin raised to 2,500 and everyone folded. "The good thing about the big blind ante is you can wait," Dumartin told his defeated opponent.

"That's what I plan to do," he replied.

The flop came 8♥K♠6♠ and Kakahama continued for 4,000. His opponent called to the 4♠ turn, where Kakahama kept firing this time for 6,700.

The hijack again called and the 3♣ fell on the river. He checked to Kakahama, who then slid forward a bet of 25,000. His opponent snap-mucked.

The turn came the 3♥ and the hijack continued for another 7,000. Freden then moved all in for 29,500 and his opponent snap-called with J♣J♦.

Freden, though, had 7♣3♣ for quad threes and had his opponent already drawing dead and paying off a double up by the time the A♥ fell on the river.
