With around 15,000 in the middle on a flop of 2♣9♥10♣, Davit Kubaneishvili bet 8,000 and Mikhail Melkumov raised to 23,000. Kubaneishvili called.

A 2♠ came on the turn and after Melkumov checked, Kubaneishvili bet a chunky 50,000. Melkumov thought for a few moments but decided to let it go.

As his opponent folded, Melkumov thumped the table twice then slammed down A♠8♠ onto the felt for a bluff.

The action was unknown but the chips were into the middle on the turn with the board reading J♣4♥7♣3♥, and a Q♠ dropped on the river.

Tsetskhladze held the nuts with 6♥5♥ and even though Lobach's cards weren't seen, it's safe to say he couldn't beat his opponent's straight.

A K♣ on the turn saw Simonian check-call a bet of 7,500 from Svidunovich.

When the Q♦ dropped on the river, Simonian checked for a third time and Svidunovich bet 20,000. Simonian picked up his cards then folded by slamming down A♠10♣ face up into the center of the table

Vlasov momentarily thought he had survived as the window card was a J♠, but unfortunately for the Russian player, it was promptly followed by K♦5♦, which gave both players a set. Only the last remaining jack in the deck could save Vlasov but neither the 2♥ turn nor 9♥ river are what he needed, and he was eliminated.
