Ghaeli Spikes a Two-Outer to Eliminate Samadov

Murad Samadov opened from middle position then Ehsan Ghaeli three-bet from the small blind to 4,000. Samadov then four-bet to 15,000, and Ghaeli shoved. Samadov called off his stack of around 40,000.

It was a dream spot for Samadov who had the overpair and even had the suits of his opponent covered. The flop of A♦5♦9♣ changed nothing but the J♦ turn gave Ghaeli a set, which left Samadov with two outs. The 8♣ river wasn't the card he was looking for, and Samadov was eliminated.

With almost 4,000 chips in the pot on a flop of 10♣2♣Q♣, four players checked around to see the 5♥ drop on the turn. Giorgi Mevlupishvili bet 400, which Andrei Kaigorodtsev and one other player called.

The river brought a 7♠ where Mevlupishvili gathered four chips, one of each color, then bet 6,600. Kaigorodtsev, who bubbled yesterday's Day 1a, was the only caller.

Mevlupishvili showed 5♠5♦ for a turned set, and Kaigorodtsev mucked.

The floor were called over to Table #12 as there had been some commotion that needed a ruling. On a full board of 6♠7♣4♣7♥6♣, there were over 30,000 chips in the pot when Leri Morciladze checked, and Mikhail Melkumov put 800 into the middle then announced all in afterwards. When the floor arrived, the situation was explained and the bet was ruled as a shove, which then put Morciladze in a spot for his remaining stack of 25,600.

After some time thinking, Morciladze elected to call.

Melkumov showed 4♠4♥ for a full house, and Morciladze could only muster up A♠A♥, which meant he was eliminated.

Vladimir Ovcharov had already committed his short stack to the pot and was battling for the main pot of around 10,000 chips. There was a flop showing 3♥6♦K♥ where Aidyn Aimukhanov bet 6,000, and Amir Zamani called.

An A♠ dropped on the turn and Aimukhanov shoved for 23,000 exactly. Zamani folded.

With 4,500 chips in the middle on a flop of A♥9♦5♠, there were still five players in the pot when it checked to Kerem Turuskan, who bet 1,000. Tal Rofe and Ilia Chugunov called, and the remaining two players folded..

The 9♠ turn was checked through to the Q♦ river where Chugunov bet 4,000. Turuskan quickly folded, and Rofe thought for some time before he flicked in the call.

Chuganov showed Q♠9♣ for a full house, and Rofe mucked his cards.

With over 20,000 chips already in the middle on a board of 10♦4♥6♦2♣, Eduard Bagrov had checked it over to Amir Zamani, who bet 16,000. Bagrov was in the tank for a while and didn't know what to do.

"How can I fold this?" asked Bagrov.

"Easy," replied Zamani.

Bagrov called.

The river brought a 4♠ and after Bagrov checked, Zamani shoved for 16,000. Bagrov had less than that in his stack and seemed like he wanted to call.

"Donation," said Bagrov as he dropped his stack directly in front of Zamani.

Zamani then showed A♦A♠ for a pair of aces, and Bagrov's 10♥9♥ went down in flames.
