Francis Obadun was at risk for 109,000 in the big blind after a blind-on-blind confrontation with Martin Olali in the small blind covering Obadun.
Francis Obadun: K♦10♣
Martin Olali: Q♠10♠
Obadun had Olali dominated after a flop of 5♥3♥3♦, but the Q♥ turn gave Olali two pair. The story was not over though, as the K♥ completed the board to give Obadun a better two pair and the double-up.

With 160,000 in the middle on the completed board of J♣9♠8♦6♦6♠, Jonathan Hanley bet 100,000 from the button.
Darren Jarvis went into the tank used up two of his time-bank cards before announcing all in for 280,500. Hanley went even deeper into the tank and was forced to use all four of his time banks. With only five seconds left he gave a pained verbal call and tabled A♥J♥ for two pair.
Jarvis shrugged his shoulders, attempted to muck his cards, and stood up. The dealer turned over A♠10♠ for an audacious bluff. While Jarvis was gathering his belongings he quipped to Hanley "Did you feel it? Did you feel the pressure?" and appeared to enjoy the two-minute suffering he inflicted on Hanley.

Day 1b is about to enter its second level of the day with 40 players at the felt.
PokerNews will continue focusing on coverage of Day 1a, and will provide chip updates from Day 1b at the close of play.
Two players saw the turn board of A♦10♦3♦8♥ with 98,000 in the middle. Gajanthan Kamalanathan in the cutoff made a bet of 80,000 and was called by Song Hoi Sun on the button after using a time bank.
The 3♣ paired the board and Kamalanathan quietly announced all in and put two pink 25,000 chips over the line. The dealer didn't hear the verbal declaration and pointed to Sun and said 50,000 who snap-called.
Kamalanathan told the dealer that he announced all in and the dealer called the floor. The floor ruled that the action was not clear and obvious from the aggressor and the bet would remain at 50,000.
Kamalanathan tabled 9♦7♥ for a bluff, while Sun turned over K♦Q♦ for a flush and took down the pot. The debate continued at the table after the hand was over and the majority of the table agreed with the floor staff's judgment.
