Schulze Cracks Sonesson's Aces
On a K-J-5 board, Sonesson and Schulze got it all in - Sonesson with pocket aces and Schulze, a set of fives. The turn and river were inconsequential and Sonesson was left short-stacked and desperate. Moments later, he shoved his remaining chips into the middle holding Q-4 and was called, once again by Schulze, who tabled A-6. The board brought no help for either player and Schulze's ace-high took down the miniature pot.
Sonesson walked away with $18,942 in prize money for his 17th place finish.
