Schulze Makes Quads; Eliminates Juhola

Jari-Pekka Juhola - 14th Place
Jari-Pekka Juhola - 14th Place
A short-stacked Jari-Pekka Juhola moved all in holding {A-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and the action folded around to Michael Schulze in the small blind who moved in over the top, forcing the big blind out of the pot; Schulze tabled a mighty pocket pair of kings at the showdown.

A flop of {7-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} left Juhola drawing quite slim, but the {7-Clubs} fell off on the turn, giving him a glimmer of hope - albeit a tiny one. Lee Nelson's turn commentary drew a laugh from the crowd: "The turn card is a seven, so Jari actually has an out."

Someone would indeed make quads on the hand, but unfortunately for Juhola it wouldn't be him, as the {K-Spades} was the last card to fall off the deck giving Schulze the winner.

Juhola earned $34,724 in prize money for his 14th place finish, while Schulze stacked up an impressive 480,000 after the hand.
