Juha Helppi Helps Himself to Opponents Chips

Action folded around to the player in the cutoff seat who raised to 1,225. Juha Helppi, playing from the button, reraised an additional 2,000. The cutoff made the call and the two men saw a flop of {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs}. The cutoff checked and Helppi went into the tank. After a few minutes, another player called the clock, at which point Helppi checked. The turn brought the {J-Clubs}. With about 15,000 in front of him, the cutoff bet 4,625. Helppi promptly put out a stack of about 20,000. The cutoff thought for only about 20 seconds before folding. Helppi stacked the pot and is well above average commanding a stack of about 38,000.

Esfandiari Gets Aces, But No Action

Antonio Esfandiari raised to 2,000 from under the gun. The magician waited patiently as each player took their turn peeking at the hole cards...and then folding. With the big blind as Esfandiari's only possible taker, he too folds and Esfandiari wins the pot. He picks his cards up with little care, flashing two red aces to those paying attention. He is now approaching 40,000 in chips.

Anthony Lellouche Eliminates Ed de Haas

A player raised in mid position, Ed de Haas called from the small blind and Anthony Lellouche made it 3,000 from the big blind. The initial raiser called and then Ed moved all in for 15,700. Anthony called and the initial raiser folded. Anthony said to Ed, "He had the best hand I think," whilst gesturing towards the player who folded.

Ed: {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Anthony: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}

Board came {5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades}{9-Spades}, which eliminated Ed and put Anthony up to 55,000.
