Thayer Building

Thayer looks to be the only player over the century mark at the moment
Thayer looks to be the only player over the century mark at the moment
Thayer "THAY3R" Rasmussen bet 5,800 on a flop of {9-Clubs} {7-Hearts} {4-Spades} after his opponent checked to him. The player took his time with his decision and then made the call.

The turn was the {3-Clubs} and the player checked again to Thayer. Thayer fired a bigger bullet this time, one worth 9,000 chips. His opponent tanked and eventually folded his hand, allowing Thayer to scoop the pot and boost his stack to 100,000.

Boom Goes Boeken

Exclusive ish
Exclusive ish
Just moments after winning his first hand, Noah Boeken was involved again. This time, the pot would be a little larger.

After opening to 825 from late position, Boeken was reraised to 2,100, but he made the call. The flop came down {9-Clubs} {3-Hearts} {2-Clubs} and the fireworks ensued.

Boeken checked and his opponent bet 1,800. Boeken then made it 6,000 to go and the player moved in over the top for about 26,000 total. Noah made the call holding {A-Clubs} {Q-Clubs}. Much to his surprise, he was way ahead in the hand as his opponent held {Q-?} {10-?}. The turn and river blanked allowing Boeken to scoop the nearly 50,000-chip pot with ace high. He now has around 47,000 chips and has a big smile on his face.

By Deuce

Everyone's favourite chirpy Italian Dario Minieri raised, only to be met with a reraise to 3,600 from the small blind. To which Minieri responded by going all in to cover Mr. Small Blind, who had around 18,000 behind. The hapless small blind squirmed for a while before eventually folding.

"You show one, I show one," announced a grinning Minieri. Mr. Small Blind did not want to show. "OK, I show anyway," said Minieri happily. He turned over the {2-Spades}.

Becker Gets Served

Tennis legend Boris Becker has been knocked out after getting the last of his chips in on a {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} {3-Clubs} flop with {A-Diamonds} {10-Spades} against {9-Clubs} {8-Clubs}. The turn {9-Hearts} left Becker behind and the {Q-Spades} river sent the German sports star home.

Roy V. Williams

Williams - top pair
Williams - top pair
Alain Roy made it 875 preflop and was called by David Williams in the small blind as well as the gent in the big blind.

They saw an {A-Diamonds} {J-Spades} {10-Clubs} flop and it checked around to Roy who bet 1,025. Williams called quickly, but the big blind, after an almost endless dwell, folded.

Both players checked the {8-Diamonds} turn, and come the {3-Spades} river Williams bet out 2,500. Roy called, but just mucked when Williams turned over {A-Spades} {Q-Spades} for top pair.

How Are They Doing?

Doing Well:

Asa Smith -- previously down to around 16,000, the young Brit has clawed his way back up to 29,500, despite claiming the title of Most Moved Player Of The Day. He's on what we believe is his fourth table today, currently sharing with Liya Gerasimova and Guillaume de la Gorce.

Doing Less Well:

Constant Rijkenberg -- after peaking at 56,000, the esoterically hairstyled Rijkenberg has somehow lost over half his stack, and is right back down to 25,500.
