Smyth Gets Some Berrys

Michael Berry, who we've found out actually won his seat in a Daily Mirror/Pokerstars freeroll, raised to 50,000 preflop and Marty Smyth flat-called in position.

The flop was {9-Spades} {K-Clubs} {2-Clubs} and Berry bet 50,000, Smyth made the call and they saw a {10-Hearts} turn where Berry bet an unusually smaller 25,000. Smyth looked slightly unsure but still called.

The river was the {5-Clubs} and now Berry bet 75,000. Smyth quickly called and Berry showed {J-Hearts} {J-Clubs} but lost out to Smyth's {A-Diamonds} {K-Clubs}.

Can't See the Woods for the Jacks and Threes

Andrew Lichtenberger raised to 40,000, and Darren Woods in the hijack made it 130,000 to go with around 170,000 behind. Between Theo Tran on the cutoff and Lichtenberger, at least five good minutes we won't see again were swallowed up with dwelling, but eventually Tran folded, Lichtenberger put Woods in, Woods called, and they were on their backs.

Lichtenberger: {J-Hearts} {J-Diamonds}
Woods: {A-Hearts} {K-Diamonds}

Board: {3-Hearts} {3-Clubs} {2-Clubs} {8-Spades} {4-Clubs}

Woods is out in 31st place.

Greco Chops Pot And Still Almost Doubles

Michael Greco moves all-in for 64,000 from mid-position, it's passed around to Andrew Lichtenberger who makes it 125,000 from the small blind to isolate.

Lichtenberger: {A-Hearts} {3-Hearts}
Greco: {A-Diamonds} {3-Clubs}

The board comes {2-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} {7-Clubs} {10-Hearts} {4-Spades} and they split the blinds and antes - which probably means more to Greco than Lichtenberger.
