Matthew Woodward raises to 360,000 from the button. Mikhail Tulchinskiy has shown a willingness to defend his big blind today and does so again here.

We get a flop of {8-Spades}

. Woodward bets 475,000 after Tulchinskiy checks. Tulchinskiy then springs a trap (perhaps?) by check-raising to 1.2 million. Woodwards thinks, then thinks, then flat calls, drawing raised eyebrows from the assemblage.

The {4-Hearts}

comes on the turn. Tulchinskiy leans back in his chair, scratches the back of his neck, and checks. Woodward quickly moves in his whole stack; Tulchinskiy just as quickly folds. By grabbing that pot he has grabbed the chip lead, something that was unthinkable about two hours ago.

Dag Mikkelsen, his stack seemingly on a permanent downward trend, opens with a raise to 380,000. Small blind Pieter de Korver moves all in and after Matt Woodward folds, Mikkelsen snap calls.
