Pastor - "Sicko"

Aaron Gustavson raised in the cutoff and then called the reraise from Juan Manuel Pastor in the small blind to see an {A-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} {9-Hearts} flop, which they both checked. Pastor check-called 8,000 on the {6-Diamonds} turn and checked again on the {5-Hearts} river before pushing all in to a 15,000 bet from Gustavson. Gustavson thought about it for a while, and eventually folded, showing the {A-Clubs}. The triumphant Pastor showed him {J-Clubs} {J-Hearts} and moved up to 170,000.

"What a sicko!" said very amused tablemate Melanie Weisner.

Moneymaker Making Money

Well, early days but he's piling up the chips at least.

Chris Moneymaker was rather reduced from his earlier high of almost 500,000, but managed to bump his stack back up a bit when a short stack moved in with {A-?} {4-?} and Moneymaker gave him a spin with {3-Spades} {3-Diamonds}.

The board came down an uneventful {Q-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} {6-Clubs} {10-Clubs} {9-Hearts} and the shortie was reduced to nothing. Moneymaker moved up to 360,000.

Lacay Gone

Paul Berende made it 6,500 to go before Nathan Tuthill, on the button, bumped it up to around 16,500. Ludovic Lacay in the small blind moved all in for around 65,100. The big blind folded, Berende folded, and Tuthill made the call.

Lacay: {j-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Tuthill: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

The board ran out {5-Spades}{6-Spades}{7-Clubs}{9-Spades}{2-Clubs} and Lacay was sent to the rail.

Cao Doubles Through Lacay

Rui Cao pushed his last 50,000 or so all-in preflop with {Q-Diamonds} {J-Hearts} in middle position and got called by Ludovic Lacay's {A-Spades} {10-Clubs} from the blinds.

Board: {J-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} {4-Spades} {5-Spades} {9-Diamonds}. Lacay was crippled as a result dropping to about 50,000 while Cao is back over the 100,000 mark.

Kelopuro 4-Bets To Win

Sami "LarsLuzak" Kelopuro has been a quiet present lurking in the shadows for much of this tournament. He's been grinding away most of the time but there are occasional flashes of the Finn.

Just now, he opened the small blind to 7,500 only to find the big blind reraising to 18,000. With a furrowed brow, Kelopuro thought for two minutes before raising once again, this time to 43,800, a quick fold from the big blind and the Finn continues his ascent.

No Love for Luske

Andre Santos made it 7,500 to go preflop and was called by both Marcel Luske and the player in the big blind.

Flop: {2-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{5-Diamonds}

The big blind checked the flop and Santos made it 12,000. Luske called and the big blind folded.

Luske then pushed his remaining chips all-in in the dark. The  {3-Clubs} hit the turn and Santos made the call.

Santos: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Luske: {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

The  {j-Hearts} fell on the river and with that Mr. Luske was headed for the exit.

Flying Dutchman near-grounded
Flying Dutchman near-grounded
A gentleman wearing the stripy hoodie uniform of the online qualifier raised and Marcel Luske on the button was the only caller.

They saw a {Q-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds} {9-Spades} flop and the young qualifier bet out; again Luske called. The dealer dropped an {8-Hearts} turn on the felt and again Young Qualifier bet out 10,000. Luske raised to around 22,000, but when the qualifier announced all in to cover him, Luske folded, leaving himself less than 17,000.

The next hand the same qualifier opened for 7,500 and Luske flat-called, with just 8,500 back. Sander Lylloff called too, and they saw a {7-Spades} {10-Spades} {J-Diamonds} flop. It checked around to Luske who pushed his remaining chips into the middle - and both players folded, bumping Luske back up to 34,000.

Matta Moves On

Nabil Matta and Vicky Coren tangled up in a preflop raising war that left Matta all in for about 55,000 total. And he was in trouble. His {A-Spades} {J-Diamonds} would need to a lot of help to overcome Coren's {A-Hearts} {Q-Spades}.

The board ran out {7-Diamonds} {5-Spades} {4-Diamonds} {8-Spades} {10-Clubs}, and that was no help at all for Matta. The Lebanese Poker Champion is outta here, and Coren moves her way up to about 135,000.
