Here We Go Again

So in four levels we have been reduced to 184. We are due to play one more level, then break for dinner, then come back for two more levels, but we suspect that if things keep up at this pace we'll be in for a slightly earlier night.

Level: 14

Blinds: 1,500/3,000

Cao Pushes

Rui Cao raised under the gun and then called a reraise from the gent down the table to see a {7-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} {9-Clubs} flop, which he checked. The reraiser bet 15,700, but Cao calmly stacked up his remaining chips and pushed them across the line, leaving his opponent with a decision. Eventually he passed, and Cao moved up to 130,000.

Table Of Death

The Scariest Table In The Room currently features EPT London winner Vicky Coren (105,000), EPT Warsaw winner Joao Barbosa (63,000), serial final tablist in events going back to before you were born Chris Bjorin (165,000), EPT Snowfest runner up Russell Carson (300,000), online monster Johan van Til (67,000), EPT Deauville winner Moritz Kranich (135,000), and three other guys who are probably also really good.

Nada for Cada

It's a no for Joe
It's a no for Joe
Under-the-gun, Joe Cada made it 5,000 to go preflop and the player to his left bumped it up to 13,000. It folded around back to Cada, who then moved all-in for around 48,000. He was called by his opponent and the cards were on their backs.

Cada: {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}
Opponent: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

The flop came down {10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and Cada was poised for a double-up. That is, until the {9-Clubs} hit the turn. The river {2-Hearts} meant nothing to Cada and with that, he was sent packing.

Booted J

Justin "BoostedJ" Smith just got eliminated. It was folded to him on the button and he quickly moved in, only to be called by the big blind who turned over {A-Spades} {4-Spades}.

"Well, I guess I'm behind, I've not looked at my hand yet..." He proceeded to flip {Q-Spades} {8-Clubs} but couldn't overcome a {10-Spades} {A-Hearts} {8-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} board.

Je-Less of Jelassi

We just caught the end of the hand, but we know that Ramzi Jelassi was holding pocket jacks, his opponent was holding aces, and a total lack of outdraws meant that Mr. Aces doubled to 280,000 while Jelassi sank to 180,000.
