Chen Doubles Through Hairabedian

Chen - rockets hold up
Chen - rockets hold up
Andrew Chen (early position) and Roger Hairabedian (big blind) got as far as the {6-Clubs} {2-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} flop in a raised pot before all the chips went in. Hairabedian bet out 420,000 and a shaky-handed Chen announced all in for just 55,000 more; Hairabedian naturally called and they revealed their hands.

Chen: that classic shaky-hand-maker {A-Clubs} {A-Hearts}
Hairabedian: {A-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} for a flush draw

Turn: {J-Spades}

River: {Q-Clubs}

An incredibly relieved Chen doubled to 1.2 million while a dissatisfied Hairabedian dropped to 1.6 million.

Josef Klings On To The Pot

The board was reading {10-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} where Matt Perrins saw his 85,000 bet check-raised to 260,000 by Josef Klinger.

Perrins made the call before Klinger check once more on the {5-Spades} turn. Perrins fired out 210,000 this time and Klinger called this time with the pot now over a million.

On the {9-Diamonds} river Klinger led out for 500,000 with just 340,000 behind and Perrins tanked for several minutes. With a frustrated look down at his chips, the young Englishman mucked his hand to send the massive pot to his opponent.

Ramzi Jelassi Eliminated in 19th Place (€50,000)

Ramzi Jelassi
Ramzi Jelassi
Ramzi Jelassi moved all-in for about 640,000 and Jean Francois Talbot pushed behind him for around 730,000.

Jelassi: {Q-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds}
Talbot: {A-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds}

"All diamonds please," requested Talbot. "Straight flush," replied Jelassi.

Neither got what they wanted on the {4-Diamonds} {9-Spades} {6-Hearts} flop but Jelassi looked happy enough with the {10-Spades} turn. But a fatal {A-Hearts} sent the pot to Talbot and Jelassi was left to make the long lonely walk to the rail.

Eyster On A Half-Shell, McCorkell Over 3 Million

Craig McCorkell raised preflop to 91,000 from UTG and Kevin Eyster 3-bet to 240,000. McCorkell then reraised all-in and Eyster asked for a count.

McCorkell's stack was a total of 1,525,000 which represented over half of Eyster's own stack but the American made the call.

McCorkell: {K-Hearts} {K-Spades}
Eyster: {Q-Clubs} {Q-Hearts}

The board came {A-Spades} {9-Clubs} {10-Spades} {8-Hearts} {6-Spades} meaning that McCorkell is now the new chip leader.
