Domenico Iannone Eliminated in 15th Place (€60,000)

Iannone - 15th place
Iannone - 15th place
Domenico Iannone opened to 125,000 under the gun and Matt Perrins reraised to 310,000. Everyone else passed, Iannone called, and they saw a flop.

Both players checked the {6-Hearts} {K-Spades} {J-Clubs} flop and come the {6-Spades} turn Iannone moved all in. Perrins called instantly, as he had a full house.

Perrins: {J-Spades} {J-Hearts}
Iannone: drawing dead with {10-Clubs} {10-Diamonds}

River: a completely inconsequential {7-Hearts}.

Laurent Olive was moved into Iannone's former seat a few moments later.

Chouity Bisects Kelopuro

Sami Kelopuro raised in the cutoff and then called a reraise from Nicolas Chouity to see a {2-Hearts} {7-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} flop. Kelopuro check-called another 355,000 from Chouity, and they proceeded with 1.4 million in the pot.

Both players checked the {9-Spades} turn and then Kelopuro bet out 575,000 on the {Q-Spades} river. Chouity called, and they revealed their cards.

Kelopuro: {A-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds}
Chouity: {A-Hearts} {A-Clubs}

The 2,545,000 pot was shipped to Chouity, who increased his chip-leading stack to 5.9 million. Kelopuro was left with 1 million.

Chip Race

Wow, that went quickly. There were only five minutes remaining of the level when we went to two tables, and now the clock has been paused to race off the 1,000-denomination chips.

Klinger's on an Unexpected Boat

Klinging in there
Klinging in there
A most curious hand occurred at the outside table as Matt Perrins raised under the gun and Josef Klinger called.

They proceeded to check down the {Q-Hearts} {8-Diamonds} {J-Hearts} flop and {8-Hearts} turn before Perrins bet out 160,000 on the {9-Clubs} river. Klinger stood up and sort of twitched, but he does that most hands so that did not necessarily mean anything. After a while he flat-called, and Perrins turned over {10-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} for a straight - and then everyone was rather surprised to see Klinger flip {9-Spades} {9-Hearts} for a full house.

More For Sami

Sami Kelopuro fired out 120,000 on a {6-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} {2-Clubs} flop but Andrew Chen made the call. Both players then checked the {8-Diamonds} turn before Kelopuro bet 280,000 on the {7-Spades} river.

Chen looked slightly confused but ended up reluctantly folding to the river bet.
