By the by, elsewhere in the hotel the €3,200 heads up event is well underway.

The first round is over, and we can tell you that Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Selbst beat the only other woman in the field, Annette Obrestad, in what may have been the sickest table draw of the event. Also through to Round 2 are EPT Kyiv winner Max Lykov, EPT Snowfest winner Allan Bække, and 2008 EPT London runner up Michael Tureniec - the latter of whom will be playing Vanessa Selbst in the next round.
