End of Day 3
Well, that was an interesting day.
The day started out at rapid pace and the bubble burst very quickly. But then once we got into the money, play seemed to slow down incredibly. Even tournament director Thomas Kremser expressed his surprise at how long it was actually taking and his prediction of an 8pm finish. Instead 25 players will be coming back tomorrow.
Day 1B Perica Bukara is the chip leader once more with 1,326,000 and he's closely followed by the Russian Konstantin Bilyaver (1,240,000) who won that huge three-way pot with second set vs bottom set vs top and bottom pair.
Also in the mix is the only remaining former EPT winner still in the field, Arnaud Mattern, he has 1,155,000 and is still in the hunt at becoming the first ever double EPT winner. Johan Storakers, Steven van Zadelhoff and Ivan Demidov are also all still in the mix meaning that tomorrow's day 4, where they play to a final table, will certainly be an interesting one!
We will see you tomorrow from 12pm (GMT+2) for all the action!
