Go directly to break. Do not pass Go. Everyone collect at least DKK 130,000.
Jens Lauridsen opened for 36,000 in the cutoff, but Johnny Jensen on the button made it 90,000 to go and Lauridsen gave it up.
Lauridsen raised to 36,000 again the next hand and this time Jensen flat-called, but now Mudassar Khan three-bet to 127,000 from the button. The blinds folded and Lauridsen gave it up pretty swiftly, but Jensen took his time. He stared intensely at Khan as if to say, "What do you have?" Then he actually asked Khan something, which was in Danish and therefore impenetrable to us, but we suspect was something along the lines of, "What do you have?"
After a few moments more in the tank, Jensen folded
face up, to the astonishment and horror of the Scandinavian rail.
Jensen - down to 620,000
Khan - up to 820,000
John Eames and Michael Tureniec have a lot of history of playing each other, Tureniec won a huge hand at the English Poker Open last year where he outdrew Eames very deep into the tournament.
Eames opened to 43,000 from the small blind but Tureniec responded with a 3-bet to 104,000. Eames then reached deep out and 4-bet to 204,000 with about 680,000 back, however the Swede wasn't blinking and he moved all-in - Eames folded instantly.
The Swedes are in cruise control.
Nikolas Liakos opened to 32,000 on the button before Andrea Dalle Molle made it 87,000 from the big blind. Liakos then min-clicked it back making it 142,000 to go.
Molle instantly folded and Liakos turned over
and said, "Don't you try, pally!" to his Italian opponent.
This battle isn't over yet...
Simon Hanninger, trailing the monster stacks on his table, was prepared to take on Michael Tureniec out of position. Both players checked the

flop, and then Hanninger took over leading both the
turn (50k) and the
river (150k). It really looked like Tureniec was going to make the call for a minute or so, but he laid his hand down in the end.
The player just mentioned as 'The Super John Eames' by EPT Live Commentator Nick Wealthall won a healthy pot from Joel Nordkvist. Eames in the cutoff re-raised preflop and Nordkvist made the call. On the

flop, Nordkvist check-called Eames' 85k bet, but when the
came on the turn, Nordkvist check-folded to Eames' 489k all-in bet.
Up on the feature table, online qualifier Lars Krogh opened for 34,000 only to face a reraise to 85,000 from Joel Nordkvist. He tanked, and then he called.
Flop:

Krogh checked. Nordkvist bet 91,000, prompting another little tank from Krogh, and then another call.
Turn:
Krogh checked again, and this time Nordkvist ominously asked him how much he was playing. The answer was around 450,000, and the bet from Nordkvist was 140,000. This proved too much for Krogh, and he folded.
Up in the six-figure payouts now, Daniel Johansson heads to the cash desk after making a stand for his 160k with
. His under the gun shove was called with little hesitation by button Johnny Jensen whose

In case railers were thinking Swedes were indestructable, that's our first Swedish casualty of the day.
