Another One Meulynized!

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 300 ante

Belgian powerhouse Philip Meulyzer is now up to 665,000 after knocking out yet another hapless soul.

Tayfeh Mohsen raised to 6,500 from the button, only for Meulyzer to make it 17,200 from the small blind. Mohsen went all in, Meulyzer snap-called, and it was a swift and clinical end for Mohsen.

Mohsen: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Meulyzer: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

Board: {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}

Berda Picks Up Another Pot

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 300 ante

Tomer Berda has just helped himself to 40,000 pot after out-flopping both Jack Powell and Luca Pagano.

Powell raised first in from the hijack seat and both Pagano (small blind) and Berda (big blind) called. The flop came down {2-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} and all three players checked but when the {9-Spades} fell on the turn Pagano bet 11,000 and this time only Berda called. Both players then checked the arrival of the {k-Spades} on the river and Berda scooped the pot as all Pagano could show was the {a-Spades} as he mucked. Berda had {q-Spades}{j-Spades} and the win.

Left His Marc

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 300 ante

David Misha Van Der Weele seems to be involved in everything at the moment but after that exit, he has dropped back down to 100,000 after losing a 160,000 pot to Marc Ladouceur after yet another all-in preflop battle.

This time Van Der Weele was holding {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts} against the {a-Spades}{k-Spades} of Ladouceur which hit the {q-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{4-Clubs} board better.

Conclusion? Van Der Weele should only play the overcards and not underpairs in races.

A Weele Good Trick

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 300 ante

Johann Leiter opened preflop to 6,700 before Gabor Felsen reraised all-in for 48,500. Then David Misha Van Der Weele also moved all-in to cover the other two, back to Leiter who folded and we had a showdown!

Felsen: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Van Der Weele: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Felsen was shot down when the board came {k-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts} killing off any future any hopes in this tournament.

Kravchenko Finds Ladies, Surprises Everyone

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 300 ante

Morten Mortensen raised to 6,700 under the gun and Alex Kravchenko in the cutoff was the only caller. Both players checked the {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop, and they proceeded directly to the {10-Clubs} turn, when Mortensen bet out 7,900. Again, Kravchenko flat-called. Mortensen reverted to checking the {2-Diamonds} river and Kravchenko checked behind.

"Ace-high?" hazarded Mortensen, turning over what we believe was {a-}{j-}. But it was no good - Kravchenko turned over a surprisingly premium {q-Hearts}{q-Spades} and increased his stack to 205,000. Mortensen looked slightly baffled, and merely dipped to 320,000.

Enter: The Dragomir

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 200 ante

Cristian Dragomir, who some of you will remember for causing that hilarious/terrible (delete as applicable) Phil Hellmuth blow-up at the WSOP Main Event 2008 has just doubled up.

He was all-in for 80,000 preflop with {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} against David Misha Van Der Weele's {q-Spades}{q-Hearts} but got there by the river of the {9-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Hearts} board.

Norietis B.I.G. Pot

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 200 ante

A huge hand that totalled 175,000 chips has just taken place over on Table 8, with Roland Norietis scooping the lot.

The super-aggressive Vladimir Geshkenbein opened the betting with a raise to 5,500 but next to act was Iulian Ruxandescu who three-bet to 13,600. Two players folded and Norietis flat called. Geshkenbein looked a little puzzled by the action but called anyway!

Flop:{5-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} - Geshkenbein checked, Ruxandescu bet 14,500 and both Norietis and Geshkenbein called to create an already substantial pot.

Turn:{k-Clubs} - Geshkenbein checked, Ruxandescu continued his aggression with a 16,600 bet, which Norietis raised all in for 45,200 in total, too much for Geshkenbein call and he folded.

Ruxandescu looked quite pained as he called and he looked gutted as he discovered his {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} had been cracked by {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
