Mariano Salis pushed all-in for 13,000 from the small blind and it didn't take too long for chip leader Alessandro Adinolfo to call with dominating Salis' . The board came and Adinolfo looks to be the first player over the 200,000 mark.
There was a raise from early position from an unknown player and Pieter de Korver three-bet to 4,000. Paul Trigo called on the button and Tom MacDonald four-bet from the big blind making it 13,000 to play. The initial raiser and de Korver both folded but Trigo made the call from the button.
Flop:
Both players checked.
Turn:
MacDonald fired out a healthy looking 14,000 and Trigo made the call.
River:
MacDonald thought for a while before checking and Trigo also checked. MacDonald was the last aggressor and suffered the ignominy of showing the table . Trigo peeled over and won the hand and now has 107,000.
We joined the board and it was as dark as the mood that Kelly found himself in by the end of the hand.
Board:
Kelly was on the button and his opponent was Sabato Lorenzo sitting in the big blind. There was 9,000 in the pot and Kelly had just bet 7,000 and Lorenzo was in the tank. When Lorenzo surfaced for air he made the call. The river was a fourth and scary looking club . Lorenzo snap-check-called a 17,000 Kelly bet.
"You have got it," said Kelly.
Lorenzo turned over and both cards were devoid of clubs much to the annoyance of Kelly, who was still shaking his head, a long while after he had finished re-counting his 28,000 stack.
Mayu Roca check-raised Patrick Sacrispeyre all in on a flop of and the French player tanked for several minutes before calling with . Roca turned over for the dominating two pair, the turn gave Sacrispeyre an unlikely straight and the river did not change anything.
Jacopo Delle Foglie raised to 1,700 preflop and was called by Nicolas Cardyn before Alec Torelli moved all-in from the blinds. Foglie reraised all in and Cardyn got out of the way.
Foglie:
Torelli:
Board: - Torelli was sent to the rail, there's about 275 players remaining.
Atanas Gueorguiev raised under the gun to 1,400, Cristian Tardea called before Jacopo Delle Foglie three-bet making it 4,100. Action back to Gueorguiev and he four-bet to 9,800 before Tardea mucked. Delle Foglie looked at Gueorguiev once before moving all-in and standing up. We assume he was expecting the call since the four-bet was such a strong play. Gueorguiev had other ideas when he folded instantly.
Martins Adeniya seems comfortable and playing within himself over at table 16. We just saw him defending his big blind with a three-bet of 5,600 over a 2,000 middle position raise from Thomas Mercier. The flop was and Adeniya bet 6,200 and Mercier folded. Adeniya is now up to 87,000.
