Registration is now closed, and we can reveal that 549 hopefuls coughed up their €5,000 today, bringing the total field for this year's tournament to 987. This is significantly down on last year's turnout of 1,240, but given the recent legal issues in the United States and so on, a field of almost a thousand is still incredibly impressive.
