Ignat Liviu Eliminated in 10th Place (€48,000)

In a friendly preflop pot, Ignat Liviu and Nicolas took a heads-up flop for the minimum from their respective small and big blinds.

The dealer gave them {A-Spades} {5-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds}, and Levi called a bet of 40,000. Still pretty friendly. They'd both check the {J-Hearts} turn, and that's friendly too. The river brought the {2-Diamonds}, though, and it would turn out to be an unfriendly card for one of the two men. Liviu fired back out with 130,000, and Levi raised enough to put him all in for the extra 385,000 he had behind. Liviu didn't really love his spot, but he made the call for his tournament life.

Showdown
Liviu: {3-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} (wheel)
Levi: {4-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} (flush)

Diamonds are Nicolas Levi's best friend, and the flush sends Liviu to the rail. He's out in 10th place, and that'll earn him a pay bump up to €48,000.

Yann Brosolo Eliminated in 11th Place (€35,000)

Yann Brosolo - 11th Place
Yann Brosolo - 11th Place

Yann Brosolo moved the last of his chips into the middle for 220,000 from under the gun. Mads Wissing reraised all in from the next seat for a little under 700,000. Everyone else folded.

Wissing tabled the {K-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and Brosolo the {A-Spades}{7-Hearts}.

The flop, turn and river ran out {10-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Wissing won the pot. Brosolo was eliminated and finished in 11th place for €35,000.

Levi Building a Fortress

Nicolas Levi raised to 80,000 from the button, and Ari Engel three-bet to 200,000 in the small blind. Levi called, and there was 425,000 in the middle headed off to the flop.

It came {J-Spades} {10-Spades} {K-Hearts}, and Engel laid out a tiny bet of 50,000 in the form of two yellow chips. Levi clicked it back to 100,000 total, and Engel flatted to see the next card. It was the {Q-Diamonds}, and the two men checked through to the {5-Spades} river. When Engel checked again, Levi fired a 500,000-chip bullet, and that sent the checker deep into the tank. Engel would spend the next few minutes agonizing in the tank, but he eventually double-checked his cards and returned them to the dealer.

Despite that loss, Engel has still improved his stack since our last update.

Brosolo's Aces Crushed

From the hijack seat, Yann Brosolo raised to 80,000. Danyel Boyaciyan reraised to 210,000 from the button and then action folded back to Brosolo. He four-bet to 450,000. Boyaciyan reraised all in for 2.185 million and Brosolo snap-called.

Brosolo: {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}
Boyaciyan: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

The flop came down {K-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and Boyaciyan smacked his two-outer to take the lead. The turn {10-Clubs} and river {7-Hearts} kept him there and he was able to win the massive hand.

The turn was the {9-Clubs} and Brosolo checked again. Boyaciyan fired 210,000 with 1.425 million behind. Brosolo folded and Boyaciyan won the pot.

Wissing Folds to Brosolo's Four-Bet Shove

From the cutoff seat, Yann Brosolo raised to 80,000. Mads Wissing was on the button and he reraised to 180,000. Play folded back to Brosolo and he took a minute before four-betting all in. Wissing had 920,000 behind and tanked for a couple of minutes. He grew rather uneasy in his chair and began squirming around a lot. Eventually, he folded and Brosolo won the pot.

Finger in Freefall

Another relatively big pot has just been yanked from the stack of Martin Finger.

The table folded around to his small blind, and Finger shoved all in against Ignat Liviu. The Romanian had 460,000 chips left in the big blind. He looked at one card and made the call for his tournament life.

"You see an ace?" Finger asked, to which Liviu rolled over his {A-Clubs}.

"That's not good," Finger realized out lout as he showed his {A-Spades} {2-Clubs}. Everyone got to see Liviu's second card at the same time, and he peeled over the {K-Hearts} to give him the dominating {A-Clubs} {K-Hearts}.

The board ran out {3-Clubs} {Q-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} {7-Spades}, and Liviu has found his double. A frustrated Finger was forced to pay off another big debt, and hes fallen all the way back to about 1.56 million now.
