Jani Sointula just negated a positional disadvantage to force Jeff Sarwer off a hand.
He defended his big blind after the Canadian raised to 22,000 from the button. The flop came and Sointula check-called a 27,000 c-bet. Both players checked the turn before the Finn led for 89,000 on the river. Sarwer wasted little time in folding.
Oleg Epp, a PokerStars qualifier, has been eliminated in 16th place. Lari Sihvo raised to 20,000 from early position and Epp was next to act. He wasted little time in moving all in for his last 104,000 chips. The action folded back to Sivho and he quickly called.

Sihvo took the lead on the flop and he stayed in front to win the hand as the turn and river were the and respectively and we are now down to 15 players in the Main Event.
The last longer contest being run by Skrill, the Officlal Payment Provider for EPT Season 8, is down to just two players. Finnish player Arvi Vainionkulma and Latvian Rolands Norietis are Skrill-patched and heads-up in the contest to credit the winner's account with the full amount of their €4,250 Main Event buy-in.
Vainionkulma is leading the way with 400,000 chips to Norietis' 180,000.
Ronny Kaiser's stack is so big that he could double up any of the remaining players in the tournament and still be chip leader, and he has increased that mammoth stack after taking on Vojtech Ruzicka just now.
Ruzicka made it 22,000 to play from the hijack seat and Kaiser quickly called on the button. Vincenzo Apicella, in the big blind, also called. The dealer put out the flop, Apicella checked, Ruzicka bet 31,000, Kaiser called but Apicella got out of the way.
The turn saw the come into play and Ruzicka bet again, this time 75,000 and Kaiser called. Kaiser calling on two streets slowed Ruzicka down and he checked the on the river. Kaiser did not check behind though, instead he took a stab at the pot, a 120,000 chip stab. Ruzicka never looked like calling and it was no surprise when he folded.
Vojtech Ruzicka raised to 23,000 from under the gun and Vicenzo Acipella called on the button. The flop was and Ruzicka bet 20,000 and the Italian called. The turn was the and Ruzicka asked Acipella for a count, "about 200k," he replied. Ruzicka bet 53,000 and despite counting out the requisite amount Acipella folded.
Lari Sihvo just emptied the clip on Raigo Aasmaa but couldn't force him off second pair.
Sihvo raised preflop and bet 26,000, 52,000 and 104,000 on a board. He was called all the way but could only muster at showdown. Aasmaa breathed a sigh of relief and tabled .
Stuart Fox is the last Brit standing, or sitting as the case may be, in this tournament and he has just picked up another 50,000 chips. The action folded to him in the small blind and he opted to just complete. Rolands Norietis was not going to let Fox see the flop cheaply and he made it 25,000 to play. Fox then announced that he was all in, which seemed to puzzle Norietis and it sent him into the tank.
The rest of the table left to go for their 15-minute break whilst Norietis was contemplating what to do. When they return they will discover that he folded.
