Kaiser Wins Another Large Pot

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Ronny Kaiser's stack is so big that he could double up any of the remaining players in the tournament and still be chip leader, and he has increased that mammoth stack after taking on Vojtech Ruzicka just now.

Ruzicka made it 22,000 to play from the hijack seat and Kaiser quickly called on the button. Vincenzo Apicella, in the big blind, also called. The dealer put out the {2-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{j-Spades} flop, Apicella checked, Ruzicka bet 31,000, Kaiser called but Apicella got out of the way.

The turn saw the {k-Diamonds} come into play and Ruzicka bet again, this time 75,000 and Kaiser called. Kaiser calling on two streets slowed Ruzicka down and he checked the {2-Spades} on the river. Kaiser did not check behind though, instead he took a stab at the pot, a 120,000 chip stab. Ruzicka never looked like calling and it was no surprise when he folded.
