Cichocki Hits Trips

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Poland's Grzegorz Cichocki has passed the two million chip mark after winning a massive pot at the expense of Arvi Vainionkulma.

Cichocki raised to 40,000 in middle position and when the action folded around to Vainionkulma on the button he three-bet to 105,000. Cichocki quickly called and it was heads up to the {a-Clubs}{6-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop. Both players checked the flop and the dealer put out the {a-Hearts} on the turn. Cichocki bet 130,000 and after a brief pause, Vainionkulma made the call.

The river was the {6-Clubs} and the Pole fired again, doubling his bet from the previous round, making it 260,000 to call. Vainionkulma did make the call but mucked when he saw the {A-Spades}{Q-Spades} of his opponent.
