Mickey Petersen Finds Aces; Doubles Up!

Team PokerStars Online Mickey Petersen finds himself with more then two million chips after finding aces in a hand with the aggressive Aage Ravn.

A preflop raising war broke out that resulted in Petersen getting his 1,083,000 stack into the middle with {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds} against the {A-Hearts}{K-Spades} of Ravn. The {9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{9-Spades} flop kepts the aces in front and when the turn and river were the {7-Clubs} and {Q-Diamonds} resepctively Petersen doubled up and is most certainly a threat in this event.

Ravn Outkicks Hansen

Aage Ravn raised to 50,000 in first position and Bjarke Hansen three-bet from the cutoff. Ravn made the call and the pair shared a flop of {7-Hearts} {5-Hearts} {3-Spades}. Ravn check-called a 190,000 Hansen c-bet and then the betting action ground to a halt. The turn {A-Hearts} and river {Q-Hearts} gave them both a little showdown value and it was Ravn who took the pot.

Standard Plays

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

The EPT Copenhagen final table has slowed down slightly over the last orbit and most pots are being settled with a bet on the flop.

Hand 1: Mickey Petersen opened to 50,000 from under the gun and both Jacob Rasmussen (UTG+1) and Bjarke Hansen (BB) called. The flop came down {Q-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and when Hansen and Petersen checked Rasmussen took a stab with an 80,000 bet and his opponents folded.

Hand 2: The action folded to Team PokerStars Pro Pierre Neuville in the small blind and he raised to 60,000. Aage Ravn called and it was off to the {4-Hearts}{2-Spades}{8-Hearts} flop. Neuville continued with a 75,000 bet and Ravn mucked his hand.

Hand 3: Jacob Rasmussen raised and Aage Ravn made the call. A {3-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop saw Rasmussen bet 130,000 and Ravn tossed his cards back to the dealer.
