Cold Four Bet by Cailly

Sergio Castelluccio raised to 240,000, in first position, holding {K-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} and Mohsin Charania three-bet, on the button, holding {A-Diamonds} {10-Hearts}. Lucille Cailly was in the small blind holding {A-Hearts} {6-Hearts} and her pink painted fingernails tapped the top of her stack as she pondered whether or not she wanted a threesome. After asking Castelluccio for a count she said, "raise," and made the cold four-bet to 1,210,000.

Cold four-bets, on this final table, are about as rare as Rocking Horse doo-doo and it got the respect that it deserved as both players folded. That was the last action of this level.

The Two Chip Leaders Clash With Two Big Pairs

Level 31 : 60,000/120,000, 10,000 ante

Sergio Castelluccio raised to 240,000, on the button, holding {7-Spades} {7-Diamonds} and Mohsin Charania three-bet, from the small blind, holding {K-Clubs} {K-Hearts}. Two huge hands for the two chip leaders and Castelluccio is the man with all of the decisions. He asked Charania for a count and the reply was 5.2 million and he made the call.

Flop: {4-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} {3-Hearts}

A terrible flop for Castelluccio (considering his hand). Charania made a quick 420,000 c-bet and Castelluccio went through his options. One of them was call and that is exactly what he did.

Turn: {9-Hearts}

The board remained in fantastic shape for Charania and he bet 720,000; Castelluccio called.

River: {6-Hearts}

Another low card, and Charania fired a third barrel of 1,380,000. Castelluccio hated it and his body posture crumpled into an awful pose. His hand instinctively went to his head as he wondered, "how the hell did I get into this situation?" His eyes blinked feverishly and he turned to see if he could get any inkle of a tell from Charania who was just staring straight ahead; his hood covering the Castelluccio side of his face.

He exhaled a huge puff of air, shook his head slightly and made the crying call. Charania looked up at the clock and then dragged in his chip leading chips.

Bernard Guigon: The Great Escape

Level 31 : 60,000/120,000, 10,000 ante

Mohsin Charania raised to 250,000 in first position holding {J-Diamonds} {10-Spades} and everyone folded.

-

Bernard Guigon raised to 260,000 on the buton holding {A-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds}, and despite not raising that often, he has just ran into Sergio Castelluccio and {A-Clubs} {Q-Clubs} in the small blind. The Italian three-bet to 640,000 and the nodding started in earnest. After a few minutes Guigon finds a great fold and survives to nod for one more hand.

Cailly Wins Some Back

Level 31 : 60,000/120,000, 10,000 ante

Sergio Castelluccio raised to 240,000 in first position holding {K-Hearts} {6-Hearts} and Lucille Cailly looked down to see {A-Diamonds} {A-Hearts} in the small blinds. Interesting dynamic considering the previous hand, and Cailly does a tremendous acting job before three-betting to 630,000. Bernard Guigon has pocket treys in the big blind and he nodded his head for a few minutes before folding. Back to Castelluccio and he decided to muck his hand.

Cailly: A River Bet Too Far

Sergio Castelluccio made a standard raise on the button holding {A-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} and Lucille Cailly defended her big blind with {5-Clubs} {5-Hearts}. The flop of {A-Clubs} {9-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} was checked through and we saw the {J-Spades} on the turn. Cailly bet 225,000 and Castelluccio made the call. Fianlyl we saw the {7-Hearts} and Cailly tried to steal the pot for a second time. She bet 385,000 and Castelluccio snap-called.

Rodrigo Caprioli
Rodrigo Caprioli

Rodrigo Caprioli moved all-in holding {10-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} and everybody folded.

-

Rodrigo Caprioli moved all-in holding {Q-Clubs} {Q-Hearts} and Sergio Castelluccio called in the small blind holding {A-Diamonds} {8-Clubs}.

Flop: {10-Clubs} {10-Hearts} {2-Diamonds}

Caprioli was probably thinking, "Can I have my previous hand back?"

Turn: {6-Diamonds}

There is a strange quiet in the vast space surrounding the final table.

River: {A-Hearts}

Sergio Castelluccio hits one of his three outs and the unfortunate SuperNova Elite player is out in 5th place. Castelluccio extends his lead at the top.

Michael Dietrich Eliminated in 6th Place (€245,000)

Mohsin Charania made a standard raise in early position holding {A-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds} and Michael Dietrich moved all-in from the big blind holding {A-Clubs} {9-Clubs}. Charania made the easy call and we had a showdown with Dietrich the man in trouble. In stark contrast to the previous elimination Dietrich and Charania did not move from their seats.

Board: {10-Spades} {7-Spades} {5-Diamonds} {8-Clubs} {7-Diamonds}

The turn handed Dietrich 11 outs but the river was devoid of any of them and he was out on 6th place.

Castelluccio Retakes The Chip Lead

Lucille Cailly had not finished stacking her new found chips when Sergio Castelluccio raised to 240,000 holding {K-Clubs} {10-Hearts}. She looked at her cards and found {A-Clubs} {Q-Clubs} and just made the call.

Flop: {J-Spades} {J-Hearts} {3-Clubs}

Both players checked.

Turn: {Q-Diamonds}

Castelluccio bet 340,000 and Cailly made the call.

River: {9-Diamonds}

Castelluccio hits a straight and he bet 700,000. Cailly could sense that something was wrong but couldn;t stop hersel from calling. Castelluccio shows the straight and Cailly drops back to second place.
