A Bad Day at the Office For Eames

John Eames started the day 7th in chips, with just under 200BB, but his mighty stack has crumbled into nothing in a series of bad beats and frustrated pots. We just saw him flop a set of eights on a rainbow board only to lose to a runner-runner flush against Jan Petersen, when all of the money went in on the turn. This reduced Eames to 40,000 and they went into the middle against Klimashin Nikolaevich in a flip. Eames held {A-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds} and Nikolaevich held {8-Diamonds} {8-Hearts} and after a {7-Spades} {4-Diamonds} {3-Spades} {10-Spades} {7-Hearts} board - Eames was out.

Frankland{A-} {Q-}

Ghassan told the table that he had folded Jacks and then the flop fell {K-} {J-} {4-}. When the turna nd river bricked for Frankland, Ghassan was left to rue what could have been, Kostic was left with 110,000 chips and Frankland was left without a seat at the EPT Grand Final.

Chouity Sticks It In

From under the gun, Nicolas Chouity raised to 2,400. Bruno Fitoussi called from the next seat and then Jonathan Villeneuve three-bet to 7,000 from the position after that. Action then folded to Robert-Andrei Pescaru and he four-bet to 12,800 out of the cutoff seat. After the button and blinds folded, Chouity raised all in for 44,800. Everyone folded and Chouity won the pot to chip up a bit.
