A Charania Double Up

Andoni Larrabe Sánchez raised to 50,000 in the cutoff and Mohsin Charania moved all-in from the button. Sanchez asked for the count, and after learning it was 471,000, decided to make the call.

Charania{A-Hearts} {9-Hearts}
Sanchez{6-Diamonds} {6-Spades}

Charania didn't feel lucky as he threw his player i.d card into the mix as well, but it was all for naught as he spiked his ace on the flop to secure his double up.

Board: {A-Spades} {J-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {2-Clubs} {5-Hearts}

Tabatabaei Find a River Call

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Reza Tabatabaei raised to 60,000 in the hijack seat and Mohsin Charania flicked in the call from the big blind. The flop was {K-Spades} {J-Diamonds} {8-Spades} and Charania check-called a 100,000 Tabatabaei bet. The turn of {10-Hearts} was checked through and the last card was the {5-Hearts}. Charania took the betting lead for 80,000 and Tabatabaei made the call.

Tabatabaei{A-Clubs} {J-Clubs}
Charania{Q-Hearts} {J-Hearts}

So it was a good call by Tabatabaei and he hauled in the pot.

Dietrich Hits Runner-Runner to Double

Michael Dietrich
Michael Dietrich

Andoni Larrabe Sánchez shouted, "F##k, f##k, f##k!" after the river card fell to hand Michael Dietrich a double-up just before the break.

Sánchez opened to 60,000 from the button and snap called when Dietrich three-bet all-in from the small blind.

Sánchez: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Dietrich: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}

The flop came a beautiful looking {6-Clubs}{7-Spades}{10-Clubs} for Sánchez. He wasn't so happy with the {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs} turn and river though.

Caprioli Doubles Through Abouaf

Rodrigo Dos Santos Caprioli raised in middle position, Dan Abouaf moved all-in from the small blind and Caprioli made the call.

Caprioli{A-Clubs} {A-Spades}
Abouaf{A-Diamonds} {K-Hearts}

It was Caprioli at risk of elimination, but the chances were looking slim that it would become a reality.

Board: {K-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} {10-Clubs}

Abouaf was on his feet and you could see how much this meant to him, but the combination of cards he needed to eliminate his opponent did not come, and he is now one of our short stacks.

"Meanwhile Vadzim Kursevich is on our feature table trying to become the first two-time EPT champion," said James Hartigan staring down the lens of a TV camera, Joe Stapleton nodding by his side. Pulling back the curtain of TV production we can reveal that Kursevich is already out (25th, €35,000),..."

Chip Leader: Ben Vinson 2.2 Million

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Ben Vinson has taken the chip lead from the TV table with over 2.2 million chips. We tried to grab him as he was speaking to his good friend Chris Sly, to ask him how he had amassed such a stack, but he was off like Road Runner to keep his hot streak HOT.
