Cagey Play Upon the Restart

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 5,000 ante

This is the richest EPT of the season with the biggest first prize on offer (€1.5m) and the grandest, most impressive TV set we've ever seen.

It's no wonder that all our remaining players have started back from break with a cautious attitude to their play. Who would want to miss out on tomorrow's final table? Basically what we're trying say is that there has been nothing of not to report about since our return from dinner.

Post Dinner Hands

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 5,000 ante

Clayton Mozdzen raised to 125,000 in early position, Rodrigo Caprioli called in the hijack as did Mohsin Charania in the big blind. The flop was {A-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} {4-Clubs}, Charania bet 165,000, Mozdzen called and Caprioli folded. The turn was the {4-Hearts} and Charania check-folded to a 200,000 Mozdzen bet.

-

Clayton Mozdzen raised to 125,000 and Mohsin Charania called in the small blind. Both players checked the flop of {9-Hearts} {6-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} and the dealer gave us the {6-Clubs} turn. Charania bet 155,000 and Mozdzen made the call. The {4-Hearts} river was checked by both parties and the pot went to Charania and his {2-} {2-}.

-

Rodrigo Caprioli raised to 1250,000 in mid-position, Mohsin Charania three-bet to 305,000 on the button and Caprioli folded.

-

Lucille Cailly raised to 125,000 under the gun and Bernard Guigon called two seats to her left. The flop was {9-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} and Guigon won the pot with a 300,000 check-raise after Cailly bet 130,000.

-

Michael Dietrich raised to 125,000 in early position, Lucille Cailly three-bet to 295,000 in the small blind, Dietrich popped it back up to 510,000 and Cailly mucked her hand.

Mohsin Charania raised to 120,000 in mid-position, Clayton Mozdzen raised to 250,000 and Charania released his hand.

Guigon Wins at Showdown

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 5,000 ante

Clayton Mozdzen raised to 125,000 in the hijack seat and Bernard Guigon made the call in the big blind. The flop was {10-Clubs} {8-Spades} {4-Diamonds} and Guigon took the betting lead for 100,000; Mozdzen called. On the turn we saw the {A-Clubs} and once again Guigon bet, this time for 150,000, and Mozdzen called. Finally we had the {K-Spades} and Guigon's 450,000 bet was very quickly called once more. Guigon turned over {A-Spades} {K-Diamonds} and Mozdzen smiled before mucking his hand.

More Chips For The Chip Leader

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 5,000 ante

Daniel Gomez completed in the small blind and Alex Mostafavi checked in the big blind. The pair shared a flop of {J-Spades} {10-Diamonds} {7-Spades} and Mostafavi called a 75,000 Gomez bet. The turn card was the {3-Diamonds} and this time Gomez changed tact and check-called after Mostafavi made it 125,000. The final card was the {8-Diamonds} and Gomez bet 100,000 and it was enough to take down the pot.

Mozdzen Rivered? Becomes the Short Stack

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

The last hand before the break saw Bernard Guigon, Clayton Mozdzen and Lucille Cailly all see a flop containing a seven. The action checked to Mozdzen who bet 85,000 from the cut-off. Cailly folded but Guigon check-called. Both players checked the {j-} turn before Guigon led for 325,000 on the {7-Diamonds} river.

Mozdzen thought for a minute and called to be shown {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for rivered trips. Mozdzen smiled and shook his head as he paid off his opponent.

Apologies for the lack of details, we spoke to the dealer about this hand and that's all he could recall. Full chips counts coming up.
