We've just been told that so far 640 players are registered for Day 1b, selling out the tournament, and there is still a waiting list. A few players, including Michael Mizrachi and JP Kelly, waited until the last minute to try and get in, so they are now alternates.

There have already been a few eliminations here on Day 1b, but the man with the distinction of being the first eliminated belongs to Ezequiel Macho Morcillo. We're not sure what happened, but the tournament staff has confirmed that he was the first to go.
Our access to the final table is limited, but we can tell you it currently plays host to Philipp Gruissem, Johnny Lodden and Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier. The latter is decked out in a black and gold komodo.
As we were scouring the field for notables, we happened by Tristan Wade's table with 1,800 in the pot and a board reading . A player in early position had checked, and Wade opted to do the same with on the button. However, his rivered pair of queens was no good as the early-position player tabled .
