Aces vs. Aces

From under the gun plus one, William Thorson limped in. On the button, Bahadir Kilickeser limped and then Eric Vuissoz completed from the small blind.Søren Reffstrup was in the big blind and raised to 48,000. After a couple minutes of deep thought, Thorson called. The other two players folded.

The flop came down {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and both players checked to see the {3-Spades} come out on the turn. Reffstrup checked and Thorson bet 42,000. Reffstrup check-raised all in for about 125,000 and Thorson called.

Both players tabled aces. Reffstrup held the {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} and Thorson the {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}. The river completed the board with the {J-Hearts} and the two of them chopped up the pot.
