Double Barrel From Wigg Wins The Pot

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

On a flop reading {J-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{7-Clubs} Dmitry Grinenko checked from the big blind position over to Anton Wigg in the cutoff and the Swede fired a bet of 2,100. Grinenko called and the duo shared a {Q-Hearts} on the turn. Grinenko checked to Wigg again but Wigg saw no reason to slow down and he fired a second barrel worth 4,800 and Grinenko folded; albeit after 30-45 seconds of deliberating.

The Big Stacks

This is No Ordinary EPT

If it was these players nearly made day 2. It's not a normal EPT though and there two more levels to last.

Selbst Four Bets From The Blinds

Level 8 : 300/600, 75 ante

Andre Klebanov saw the action fold to him in the cutoff and he opened the betting by raising to 1,500. The button folded but Scott Baumstein defended his small blinf by three-betting to 2,800. Next to act was the Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Selbst in the big blind and she stuck in a four-bet to 6,100.

Whatever Klebanov opened with was not worth messing with Selbst as he folded and Baumstein's cards also found there way to the muck.

Nadal Serves Up An Ace

Level 8 : 300/600, 75 ante

Santiago Nadal has just helped himself to a huge pot after an ace on the river coolered [Removed:464].

We joined the action on the {3-Spades}{A-Hearts}{9-Hearts} flop, a flop that Semaska bet 3,300 on from the hijack. This put the action on Nadal in the cutoff and he paused for 90 seconds before raising it up to 7,700. Shaun Deeb folded on the button but Semaska made the call.

The turn was the {5-Hearts} and Semaska checked to Nadal who waited for a full minute before checking behind. Our river card was the {A-Diamonds} and Semaska checked again. Nadal waited even longer than he did on the turn, waiting two minutes this time before betting 16,800 but Semaska's result was immediate; he called.

Semaska: {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts} - for a flush
Nadal: {A-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a winning full house.

Semaska shook his head and went a nice shade of red whilst Nadal got busy stacking up his chips.

Manabe Ends Up Emptying the Clip on Himself

Tsubasa Manabe is out after going for the jugular versus Igor Kurganov and coming unstuck.

Kurganov opened to 1,400 from under-the-gun and was called by Manabe two seats along and one other player. From there on it was all about Munabe who bet 2,500, 7,500 and all-in for 34,575 on the river. The final board read {6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and Kurganov check-called all the way with {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for a rivered two-pair.

Munabe could only muster {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}. The two German's embraced and Munavbe heaged off saying, "Sick hand."
