Game Saver?

Anton Wigg has opened a few pots today, and had been three-bet off his hand on a number of these occasions.

This happened once more before he tried again with an open to 48,000. Once more he was three-bet; this time by Davidi Kitai, but in between the two actions a player accidentally exposed {q-}{2-}.

This greatly effected the action as Wigg folded {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts} face-up and said he would've moved all-in if he didn't see the exposed queen. Pratyush Buddiga is sat next to Wigg and said, "When you win the tournament you can look back and see this as a pivotal moment."

Dmitry Grinenko Eliminated In 16th Place (€25,000)

Dmitry Grinenko has been eliminated from the EPT Berlin Main Event in 16th place. Maybe his solitary 25,000 chips was his lucky one?

The action folded to him in the small blind and he open-shoved for around 200,000 and Anton Wigg made the call. Grinenko turned over {A-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Wigg flipped over {K-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}. Wigg took the lead on the {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop and when the turn and river were the {7-Clubs} and {3-Clubs} respectively Grinenko's tournament came to an end.

Geshkenbein and Kilickeser Battling

From under the gun, Vladimir Geshkenbein raised to 50,000. In the small blind, Bahadir Kilickeser three-bet to 112,000 and Geshkenbein called.

The flop came down {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and Kilickeser bet 122,000. Geshkenbein called. The turn was the {K-Diamonds} and Kilickeser bet 127,000. Geshkenbein called again. The river was the {J-Clubs} and Kilickeser checked. Geshkenbein bet 100,000 and Kilickeser folded.

On the next hand, Kilickeser raised from the button to 52,000. Geshkenbein three-bet to 140,000 from the big blind and Kilickeser folded.

Florian Dohnert In Push-Or-Fold Mode

Florian Dohnert is one of the shorter stacks in this tournament and as a result is currently in push-or-fold mode. It seems that the young German prefers the former because he has been all-in on three occasions during the last orbit, increasing his stack to 520,000 as a result.

Wright Bests [Removed:287]

[Removed:284] opened to 50,000 from under the gun and Marc Wright reraised to 131,000 from the small blind. [Removed:287] called and the flop came down {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}. Wright bet 143,000 and [Removed:287] called.

The turn was the {9-Hearts} and both players checked. They also checked the {3-Hearts} river.

Wright showed the {8-Spades}{7-Spades} for a pair of eights and [Removed:287] mucked his hand.

Geshkenbein Five-Bet Folds

From under the gun, Pratyush Buddiga raised to an unknown amount and action folded to Vladimir Geshkenbein in the small blind. He reraised to 114,000 and play moved back to Buddiga. He four-bet to 223,000 and Geshkenbein went into the tank. After a bit of thought, Geshkenbein five-bet to 450,000. Buddiga reraised all in and Geshkenbein snap-folded his hand.
