Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

On the feature table, Eric Vuissoz raised and Andrew Chen reraised to 90,000. Vuissoz then reraised to 160,000 and Chen called. The flop came down {K-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and Vuissoz moved all in for approximately 355,000. Chen gave it up and Vuissoz won the pot.

Kevin MacPhee Eliminated in 19th Place (€20,000)

Kevin MacPhee will not be winning his second EPT Berlin Main Event as he has been eliminated. He was seated on the feature table so we do not have the exact details, but we can tell you that Jordi Riba Corrons check-called MacPhee's shove on the river with a pair of tens on a {J-}{J-}{4-}{X-}{4-} board to take him out.

Andreas Vlachos Eliminated in 20th Place (€20,000)

We are down to 19 players in the main event after Andreas Vlachos ran foul of a strangely played pair of aces.

Our friends over on the PokerStars blog informed us that Jasper Wetemans opened to 40,000 from under the gun and Davidi Kitai smooth-called. Andreas Vlachos then squeezed to 113,000. Wetemans folded but Kitai made the call. The flop came down {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{j-Spades}, Kitai checked, Vlachos shoved for 750,000 and Kitai snapped him off.

Kitai: {A-}{A-}
Vlachos: {A-}{J-}

The turn and river were the {K-Diamonds} and {7-Diamonds} and Vlachos was sent packing.

David Kahan Eliminated in 21st Place (€20,000)

While that big hand was occurring Vladimir Geshkenbein was quietly eliminating David Kahan on the neighbouring table.

Kahan got his last 351,000 chips in with {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} but was in bad shape against the Russian's {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}. The board ran out {k-Spades}{3-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}.

New Chip Leader!

A massive pot went down on table one that saw Marc Wright hand over the chip lead to Bahadir Kilickeser.

Heinz Kamutzki opened to 40,000 and was called in the small blind before Wright three-bet to 136,000 from the big blind. Kamutzki folded but Kilickeser called to the {k-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} flop.

Wright bet 206,000 when checked to him and Kilickeser made a huge check-raise all-in for 1,320,000. Wright said he had to call and tabled {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs} for top pair. He was way behind though as Kilickeser opened {8-Hearts}{8-Spades} for bottom set.

The turn came {9-Spades} to offer Wright some hope, but that all vanished after the {3-Hearts} river was revealed.
