Players are now on a 20 minute break.
David Vamplew opened to 500 on the button and Roman Romanovskyi defended in the big blind to see a flop of flop which both players checked.
Romanovskyi then led out for 800 on the turn and Vamplew made the call to see a blank on the river, the Russian fired again, to the tune of 1,800 and Vamplew made another quick call.
Romanovskyi showed but Vamplew had him pipped kicker-wise with to take down the pot.

Registration has been closed now, and the tally of runners for Day 1b looks to be 352 in total. It's very nearly official, but we're just waiting for the triple-check to be completed and the final number to be announced.
If that number is a good number, our field will be filled out at 477 players.
In early position, Richard Toth opened with a raise to 500, and the action folded around to the blinds. And then Toth folded. He's a bit busy pecking away on Twitter on his iPad, and it may have cost him his concentration for just a moment as he raise-folded with action pending. The floor was called to make sure of the ruling, but there was little decision. Toth's hand was dead, and Faraz Jaka ended up taking a valuable walk in the big blind.
A walk+, if you will.
You always hear stories of players bemoaning the fact that they didn't have aces or kings all day and that they've been dealt junk hands. Players should be thankful for that; just ask Victor Ramdin and Johnny Lodden. The Team PokerStars Pros have differing tales with premium and junk hands.
Ramdin told us that he busted with pocket kings to the diminutive Ole [Removed:332] who held "them", aka, aces.
Moments later Johnny Lodden three-bet a cut-off raise whilst sat on the button. Armin Daniel Zoike four-bet from the small blind and the Norwegian made a call to a flop. Zoike continued for 2,000 and Lodden called before both checked the turn. The river fell and the German checked to face a 4,900 bet. He tanked for minutes before folding only to be shown . Cheeky.

There was nearly 20,000 already in the middle when Joep van den Bijgaart checked across to Tristan Clemencon on the turn of a board, the Frenchman firing out 8,500. Jorge Galino Lopez on the button opted for a fold but van den Bijgaart took several minutes before he too elected to fold.
Clemencon has about 55,000 now.
Dominik Nitsche had called a bet of 1,125 on a flop of against Javier Tazon, the latter check-calling a bet of 2,100 on the turn.
Tazon also checked the river and Nitsche now fired out a slightly more substantial bet of 5,875 but Tazon didn't take too long in mucking against. The German flashed the ..."It was good enough," said Tazon.

Jamie Rosen, who was down to about 11,000 earlier is now out after he check-called all in for his last 5,500 on the river of a board against Kent Rod. Rod flipped for top two pair and Rosen, since it was an all in situation, was forced to show his before heading to the rail.
