We got to the table to see Athanasios Polychronopoulos and Jeffrey Hakim looking down at a completed board of . Polychronopoulos bet 3,000 into a pot of roughly 10,000 total and action was on Hakim to make a decision.
Hakim dropped his entire stack all in for a bet totaling 13,500. It was at this point that Polychronopoulos went into the tank. He thought for roughly three minutes before the floor was called and he was given one minute to act on his hand. As the floorman counted down from sixty, Polychronopoulos could not seem to reach a decision. Finally, with one second left, he threw chips into the middle to call.
Hakim showed for a full house and Polychronopoulos lifted his cards straight into the muck. This hit has dropped him to about 43,000 in chips.
Dan Smith opened with a raise to 750 and Jason Mercier made the call. Bjorn Lindberg then went all in for 1,550 and the player in the cutoff seat four-bet to 2,625. Smith folded and Mercier made a five-bet of 4,900. The player in the cutoff folded, and Mercier and Lindberg went heads up to a showdown.

Ana Marquez opened from her button with a raise and was called by both the small blind and Paul Guichard from the big blind.
The flop was and there were two checks to the Team PokerStars pro. She fired 1,500 and the small blind folded. Guichard stuck around to see the on the turn. He checked once again and Marquez slid 3,500 into the table's center. Guichard called and the finished off the board. A third check to Marquez was announced and she made a bet of 9,000. Guichard thought for a few moments before throwing away his hand, thus awarding Marquez the pot.
From middle position, Michel Abecassis opened to 700. Dan Smith flatted on the button, and the dealer ran out the flop. Abecassis continued with a bet of 700, but got raised by Smith to 2,200. Abecassis called.
The turn was the , and Abecassis checked. Smith checked behind to see the land on the river. Both checked again.

After Abecassis and Sabato folded their hands, Smith opted to call and take a flop, which came down . From there, Smith checked, Mercier fired 2,300, and Smith called.
The turn was the , and another check came from Smith. Mercier decided to check behind this time, and the completed the board on the river. It was here that Smith fired 7,500, and Mercier raised all in for about 12,500. Smith quickly called.

We found Leo Fernandez leading out for 2,200 on a flop of . Ludovic Lacay called and the turned. Fernandez slowed down with a check and Lacay wasted no time flinging 6,000 into the middle. Fernandez sat thinking for what verged on two minutes before finally letting go of his hand, awarding the pot to Lacay.
Jason Mercier raised to 725 from middle position only to have Bjorn Lindberg three-bet to an unknown amount from the hijack. It folded back to Mercier who called.
The flop was and Lindberg continued for 2,600. Mercier flat called and the turned. Lindberg threw out 5,600 and Mercier looked back at his cards one last time before sliding them to the muck. Mercier is now down to about 26,500 in chips.
With already on the board and two players left, Guillaume Rivet shoved all in for 14,825 putting Marco Fantini under a tough decision. After two minutes or so he finally decided to call and opened .
Rivet showed and needed help from the board to survive. The on the river saved Rivet as he hit a straight and gave him a double up.
