Ramsey Ajram moved all in from the cutoff for his last 35,000 only to have Ferdinando Lo Cascio move all in over the top from the button. That inspired both blinds to get out of the way and the cards were turned up.

Ajram's kicker was second best, but there was a decent chance of a chopped pot. The 
flop was nothing special, while the 
turn meant Ajram needed a six on the river to win or either a five or deuce to chop. Unfortunately for him, it none of them were in the cards as the dealer put out the

Action folded around to Team PokerStars pro Ana Marquez who raised to 6,000 from late position. From right next door, Yevgeniy Timoshenko three-bet to 14,000 and it folded back around to Marquez.
She sat thinking for about a minute before finally dipping into her stack and coming out with a four-bet to 31,400. Timoshenko wasted no time getting rid of his cards and Marquez scooped up the pot without even seeing a flop.
The conversation between the Team PokerStars Pro Chris Moneymaker and Shaun Deeb about the TV show “Game of Thrones” ended as soon as the 2003 WSOP champion raised from the button to 6,500 before the flop. Deeb answered in the big blind and the two saw the flop go

Deeb checked and so did Moneymaker and the dealer opened 
on the turn. Both players checked again to see the come on the river. Deeb tossed in 11,000 and Moneymaker let his hand go flashing

With Rupert Elder out of the way, the path is clear for Liv Boeree to make history. She found a nice little double up just now to aid her quest.
Down to around 50,000 she moved all in with 
. Michael Ferrell was sat two seats along and made the call with pocket nines. The Team PokerStars Pro was in love with the

With 
on the board and around 42,000 in the pot Tolik Shkoyan bet 28,000 in the big blind and Marco Fantini reraised to 60,000 in middle position.
Erik Olofsson on Fantini’s immediate right tanked for two minutes or so until finally releasing his hand. Shkoyan thought about it long and hard as well before making a tough fold. Fantini scooped the pot making it a good start of the day for the Italian.
Pius Heinz had a terrible last level yesterday when he saw his stack fall from around 300k to the 43,600 he finished with.
That trend continued today to bust him. He was in the big blind with and moved all in after an opponent raised from under the gun with pockets queens. The board ran out a bricky

Action began with a raise by Sergey Baburin to 6,000 from under the gun. Michele Di Lauro called from the cutoff and Amerigo Santoro tagged along from the button. Team PokerStars pro Jose “Nacho” Barbero moved all in for 64,200 from the small blind, sending Baburin into the tank.
Eventually Baburin let go of his hand and Di Lauro made the call. Santoro quickly folded from the button and we were off to the races.

Barbero’s eights held on the 
flop. The turn, however, spelled disaster for Barbero, as the 
rolled off and paired 4503. The 
completed the board and Barbero’s tournament came to an end early here on Day 3. 4503 reached out to shake Barbero’s hand as the pot was pushed his way, but Barbero quickly stormed away from the table without saying a word.
Scooping this pot brings Di Lauro’s stack up to about 380,000.
“Seat open Table 16,” we heard a dealer yell. We made our way over to discover Sam Trickett, who had finished as the Day 1b chip leader, taking his leave. The dealer was quick in mucking his cards, but it appeared to us he held

By the looks of it, a short-stacked Trickett had shipped all in from the button and was called by Vasta in the big blind. The flop was safe for the Brit, but running spades on the turn and river felled him short of the money.
Rupert Elder’s dream of becoming the first double EPT and first double EPT Sanremo champion is over.
He found pocket eights in the big blind and three-bet all in over the open from Alexander Zayonts in early position. Zayonts called with pocket tens and safely navigated the board.
